Iran’s Erfan Hosseini Takes Silver at IPC Athletics World Championships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Erfan Hosseini from Iran claimed a silver medal at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships on Monday.

The Iranian athlete claimed the silver in the men’s javelin F13 with a throw of 59.97m.

Croatian Branimir Budetic claimed a gold medal as he threw a massive 65.72m in his opening attempt of the event.

Serbia’s Nemanja Dimitrijevic won bronze (59.82m).

Iran’s Mohammad Khalvandi (javelin F57 ), Mohsen Hosseinipanah (put F35 ), Peyman Nasiri Bazanjani (1,500m T20) and Siamak Saleh Farajzadeh (shot put F34) claimed three gold medals respectively so far  .

Sajad Mohammadian (shot put F42), Ali Mohammadyari (discus throw F56 ) and Saman Pakbaz (shot put F12) have won three silver medals and Mohsen Kaedi claimed a bronze medal in  javelin F34.
