Raul Lozano: Iran Has Chance to Advance to Olympics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Newly-appointed coach Raul Lozano said that the Iranian national volleyball team has a chance to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games.
Lozano replaced Serbian Slobodan Kovac in November.
“I will go to Iran to finalize my contract. It's tempting to coach the Iranian team. I am eager to take part at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next summer,” Lozano told sport.se.pl.
“Iran has not yet qualified for the event but has a chance to book a place,” current Cerrad Czarni Radom coach added.
“I wish Poland all the best. I will miss Poland coaches, volleyball players, journalists and the fans. And I will also miss Polish soups,” the Argentinean coach added.
