Hezbollah Denounces Deadly Wedding Blast in Turkey

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, denounced attack on a wedding in Turkey’s eastern city of Gaziantep, calling for national unity.

The Lebanese party described the crime as a “terrorist” attack and offered its condolences to the Turkish people and the victims’ families.

At least 51 were killed and scores wounded when a bomb hit a wedding party. Some are pointing the finger at Daesh (ISIL).

“The ongoing crimes that Daesh is committing in more than one country and area in the world, without discriminating between people ... confirms that the organization is deeply involved in shedding the blood of the innocent,” the statement read, the Daily Star reported.

“Hezbollah always expresses its solidarity with those wronged in the world and calls for unity between the people of our nations as well as solidarity and the expulsion of terrorists.”
