Omani Referee Al-Kaf Chosen to Officiate Esteghlal v Al Ain Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Omani Referee Ahmed Al-Kaf has been chosen to officiate a match between Esteghlal of Iran and the UAE’s Al Ain in the 2019 AFC Champions League Matchday Two.
Al-Kaf will be assisted by his countrymen in this match.
Esteghlal will host the Emirati team in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Tuesday in Group C of the competition.
Ahmed Abu Bakar Said Al-Kaf is an Omani professional football referee and has been a full international for FIFA since 2010.
He refereed some matches in AFC Champions League. Ahmed Al-Kaf officiated Australia v Jordan as well as Vietnam v Yemen in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the UAE.
