Persepolis Emerges Victorious over Tractor
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team defeated Tractor 1-0 in Matchweek 14 of the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
The players observed a minute's silence before kick-off in memory of former Iran and Persepolis defender Ali Ansarian who passed away due to COVID-19 on Wednesday.
Seyed Jalal Hosseini scored the winner in the 53rd minute.
Elsewhere, Shahr Khodro lost to Mes Rafsanjan 1-0. Faraz Emamali scored the solitary goal of the match after the hour mark.
