IPL: Alumium Moves Top of Table
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Aluminum Arak defeated Naft Masjed Soleyman 2-1 to move top of Iran Professional League (IPL) table, at least provisionally, on Matchweek 5 on Thursday.
In Mashhad, Zob Ahan defeated rock-bottom Padideh 2-1 and Gol Gohat was held to a goalless draw by Sanat Naft in Abadan.
On Friday, Esteghlal will host Nassaji in Tehran, Mes meet Persepolis in Rafsanjan, Sepahan encounter Tractor, Foolad play Havadar and Paykan meet Fajr Sepasi.
Aluminum sits top with 11 points. Esteghlal is second with 10 points.
