Iran 2nd in 2022 CAFA Women's Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Uzbekistan 1-0 Wednesday night and finished in second place in the 2022 CAFA Women's Championship.
Maftuna Shoyimova scored a late goal for defending champion Uzbekistan.
Kyrgyzstan beat Tajikistan 1-0 to come third in the standing.
The tournament brought Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan together in Dushanbe, Tajikistan from July 8 to 20.
