Young Palestinian Shot Dead by Israeli Forces near Hebron

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Muhammad Adel Muhammad Al-Sarahin, a 21-year-old Palestinian man from the town of Beit Ula, was killed when Israeli forces opened fire at him and his companion northwest of Hebron (Al-Khalil) in the occupied West Bank.

Reports by Wafa news agency indicated that Sarahin was driving near the Arroub refugee camp when Israeli forces fired upon him and a companion. Sadly, Sarahin passed away while emergency medical workers were reportedly prevented by the Israeli forces from providing urgent aid.

The situation escalated further as at least 30 Palestinian workers, originally from Gaza, were reportedly arrested during an Israeli forces' incursion into Deir al-Ghusun and the neighboring town of Attil in the occupied West Bank. Among those detained was Birzeit University student Dania Hanatsheh, taken into custody during a raid on her family's home in Ramallah.

Additionally, reports from Wafa highlighted the detention of Issam Fuqaha from the Shweika suburb north of Tulkarem. Israeli forces were reported to have conducted raids in various areas, including ash-Shuweika suburb in Tulkarem, Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho city, Umm ash-Sharayet neighborhood in Ramallah, Tuqu in Bethlehem, and Hebron.

Tensions rose further as clashes broke out between Palestinian resistance groups and Israeli forces following a raid on the Far’a camp in Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank. The intensifying situation in multiple locations within the occupied West Bank has drawn concerns and condemnation amid increasing clashes between Palestinian groups and Israeli forces.
