Iran Wheelchair Basketball Wins Best Team Performance Award
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s wheelchair basketball team won the Best Team Performance prize at the Asian Paralympic Committee's award ceremony on Saturday.
Iran defeated China’s wheelchair curling and wheelchair tennis of South Korea to win the prize.
Head of Iran’s National Paralympic Committee Ghafour Kargari received the prize.
Team Melli won a bronze medal in the 2022 Asian Para Games, beating host China 79-35 in Hangzhou.
The award ceremony was held on the sidelines of the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) General Assembly and Executive Board elections in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
