Dadmarz, Saravi Win Golds at 2024 Vehbi Emre

TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers Pouya Dadmarz and Mohammad Hadi Saravi won two gold medals in the 2024 Vehbi Emre Thursday night.

Dadmarz beat Georgia’s Giorgi Tokhadze 5-2 in the final bout of 55kg.

Mohammad Hadi Saravi defeated his compatriot Mehdi Bali 5-1 in the final of 97kg.

Amin Mirzazadeh also won a silver medal in the 130kg after pulling out against Finland’s Elias Kuosmanen due to knee injury.

More than 600 wrestlers from 25 countries have participated in wrestling tournaments in Antalya, Turkey from March 7 to 10.
