Iran's Foreign Minister Wishes Ramadan Blessings to Islamic Nations

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian extended congratulations on the start of the holy month of Ramadan to fellow foreign ministers in Islamic nations.

Amirabdollahian marked the beginning of Ramadan on Wednesday by sending messages to his counterparts.

In his communication, Iran's foreign minister also urged for global Muslim unity to realize Islam's noble ideals, emphasizing the need for Islamic solidarity to counter the aggressions and crimes of the Zionist regime against Palestinians.

Amirabdollahian highlighted the dire situation in Gaza under Israeli siege, stressing the Islamic world's necessity to effectively confront warmongers.

The observance of Ramadan traditionally begins with the sighting of the new moon of the 10th month of the Islamic lunar calendar.
