Iran’s Oil Output Hits 3.3 Million bpd in April 2024: IEA

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The International Energy Agency (IEA) said Iran’s oil production volume reached 3.3 million barrels per day (bpd) in April 2024, showing a 50,000 barrels hike compared to a month earlier.

In its latest monthly report, the agency put the total oil volume produced by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) at 26.970 million barrels per day in April 2024.

The oil production volume by the OPEC member states increased by 120,000 barrels per day in April 2024 compared to a month earlier, it said.

The OPEC member states had produced 26.850 million bpd in March.

According to this report, Iran’s oil production volume in April 2024 hit 3.3 million bpd.

Iran had produced 3.250 million bpd in March.

Iran’s oil production volume hit a five-year record high since the US withdrew from Iran’s nuclear deal, JCPOA, unilaterally in May 2018, the report added.
