FIFA President Sympathizes with Iranians over Demise of Raisi
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The president of FIFA (the International Federation of Association Football) posted a message of condolences on the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, and their companions lost their lives following a tragic chopper crash on Sunday.
“It’s with great sadness that I learned about the tragic demise of President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi.
“We had met last year in New York and discussed how to promote football in Iran. I send my sincere condolences to the people of Iran at this difficult time,” Infantino posted on his Instagram account.
