Iran’s Ghasem Rezaei Third in Greco-Roman Rankings for January
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Ghasem Rezaei maintained his third place in Greco-Roman rankings for January in the United World Wrestling.
The 31-year-old Rio 2016 Olympics bronze medalist stood behind Artur Aleksanyan from Armenia and Cuban Yasmany Lugo Cabrera in the rankings.
Iran’s Rezaei defeated Sweden's Carl Fredrik Stefan Schoen to win the bronze medal in the Men's Greco-Roman 98kg category in the Rio games.
Iranian freestyle wrestler Hassan Yazdani, who won a gold medal in 2016 Olympic Games, has also maintained his position in the 74kg weight category.
